news!

full moderation power will be given to anybody who would like to update this. (I’m looking at you, Karen, considering that you’ve been complaining about my lack of updating.)

[UPDATE Jan 3, 2010 @ 20:12 - Karen is added, but if anyone else desires they could be as well.]

[*stifles manic laughter* Okay, I'll try to update more often than Roo... Shouldn't be hard given how little he updates... love you too rowan! -penguini]

Generic welcome thread. Get your welcoming here.

Whee, maybe I’ll actually finish screwing around with this site soon. Anyway, welcome to my site. Talk on the threads/posts, and have fun. Listen to music that people suggest; it might be nice if they’d post links to YouTube some of the time. Just to make it easier to hear the song.

Dream Evil- My Number One

Title says it all, mostly. If you actually listen to the lyrics, it’s pretty disturbing (like everything I’ve read this week!)

Grafton Primary

Grafton Primary with Relativity. I found this song through Real Synthetic Audio, which I found through a series of unlikely events.

Fuck you, Karen and Annie.

Progressive Nation was seated. D: It was very disappointing. :/ The bands this year were (in order of appearance) Scale the Summit, Bigelf, Zappa Plays Zappa, and Dream Theater.

Scale the Summit were okay, not amazing, but not terrible. The convention center was close to empty when they played.

Bigelf were good, although they could have been better. They didn’t play Blackball or Gravest Show On Earth. :(

Zappa Plays Zappa were okay, not incredible imo, but I’m sure that other people liked them. In Karen’s words, “Dweezil didn’t do anything but stand there and look pretty.” I would’ve liked them more if I knew any of Zappa’s music.

Dream Theater were incredible. The set started off with A Nightmare to Remember, which was a great opening. Then came A Rite of Passage, Scene Four: Beyond This Life, 3 songs we didn’t recognize, Solitary Shell, and then the encore was The Count of Tuscany.

My voice has almost recovered now. If only my neck would follow its lead.

Videos to come when they’re up if I’m not too lazy.

Snow

I suppose I should apologize to anyone who has a slow processor and happens to come here. I just couldn’t resist.

The snow is gone. :/
